Chef Asher, a partner and founder of Almaz, is a culinary artist with over 25 years of experience in renowned restaurants across the United States. With a rich background and extensive knowledge, Chef Asher took a bold step to fulfill his dream by opening his own restaurant that introduces the rich, stunning, and traditional Ethiopian cuisine he grew up with to the Israeli public.

Injera and Teff Grain

Teff grain, one of the world's smallest and most ancient grains, originates from Ethiopia and forms the foundation of one of the most popular and beloved dishes in Ethiopian cuisine—Injera. Known for its high nutritional value, teff includes quality proteins, dietary fibers, and essential minerals such as iron, calcium, and magnesium.
